Hello, We hope that everyone had a cozy holiday season and happy new year with friends and family! We also hope that you shared some guitar music as well–perhaps “Carol of the Bells” for those involved in the November workshop last year. The early bird deadline for the March workshop was originally set for January 16th, but we have decided to extend the deadline until February 1st at midnight. Remember that if you register early, you help YGW faculty plan level-appropriate repertoire while saving a little money for yourselves. We are excited about our workshop this weekend! All students should have received their music. Please arrive to Johnson String Instrument’s Carriage House between 5:30-6:00 with your guitars, footlstools, music, music stands (if you have them, they will be helpful) and great attitudes! Dinner: We recommend that you either 1. eat before coming to register or 2. bring a bagged dinner to eat during the registration time and before the 6 p.m. activity.
